Competitions

European Rover Challenge (Onsite Formula)
European Rover Challenge is an annual International Martian Rover competition. In the on-site formula, student teams from all over the world work hard to prepare a fully functional Mars rover of their design.
International Rover Design Challenge
International Rover Design Challenge is an online space engineering design and research-oriented competition by Space Robotics Society. Teams must carefully plan each sub-system of the Rover considering various extra-terrestrial parameters in their design.
International Rover Challenge
International Rover Challenge is an Indian space robotics engineering competition which was started in the year 2017. It challenges university students to conceptualize, design, develop and operate an astronaut-assistive next-generation space Rover and perform specific missions in Mars simulated conditions.
Internatinal Space Drone Challenge
International Space Drone Challenge is a space robotics engineering competition. It challenges university students to conceptualize, design, develop and operate an astronaut-assistive next-generation space drone and perform specific missions in Mars simulated conditions.
European Rover Challenge (Remote Formula)
European Rover Challenge (ERC, ERC Space & Robotics) is an annual international Martian robot competition that has been organized since 2014 in Poland. In the remote formula, teams taking part in the remote formula will all use standardized equipment during the competition.

Departments
Coding
The Coding Department plays a pivotal role in providing the rover with autonomy. This team is responsible for writing the software that controls the rover's movements, interprets sensor data and makes autonomous decisions using stacks including Robotics, Artificial Intelligence and Web Development.
Mechanical
Responsible for the rover's physical structure, the Mechanical Department focuses on designing and analyzing the rover's mechanical structure. This includes crafting the rover's chassis, wheels, suspension, and more. Collaborating closely with the Electronics Department, they ensure the physical and electronic components integrate seamlessly.
Electronics
The Electronics Department spearheads the development and integration of the rover's electronic systems and the circuit design. This team designs and assembles critical components such as sensors, cameras, communication systems, and control units, ensuring that they work seamlessly together to enable the rover's functions.
Science
The Science Department delves into the mysteries of Mars' geological history, aiming to develop hypotheses that can be tested during the competition. Through in-depth research on Mars' geology, climate, and potential for past or present life, they create scientific experiments and hypotheses for the rover to execute. This department then analyzes the data collected by the rover to draw scientific conclusions, contributing valuable insights to the mission's objectives.
Marketing
Managing the team's finances, logistics, publicity, sponsorships, and media presence, the Marketing Department is essential for securing the resources and visibility needed for the rover project's success. Their tasks include securing sponsorships, creating marketing materials, maintaining a strong social media presence, and effectively managing the project's budget, ensuring the team's financial sustainability.
